Has your Snapdeal ad campaign budget run out? How do you update it?

Your ecommerce success will depend on the kind of popularity you have on an online marketplace. To become a popular seller apart from quality commodities you also need marketplace promotions.
The thing about promotions is they are not a onetime spend. To maintain popularity you need to engage in continuous advertising.  To help its online sellers avoid breaks in their ad campaigns Amazon introduced a new system of payment. Similarly, Snapdeal also introduced recurring campaigns for uninterrupted advertising on the marketplace.
To help its online sellers even further, Snapdeal is making an attempt to educate its online sellers about its factors related to its advertising series. Recently, the etailer informed its online sellers through email about exhausted campaign budgets and how to update them.

What is an exhausted campaign budget?

When the total spends of an ad campaign exceed the campaign budget set, Snapdeal stops serving the campaign. This will be the case even if the seller has funds in his ads account.

How do you replenish an exhausted ad campaign budget?

To add more money to your ad campaign, you must edit the campaign and update the budget field. Here’s an example:
Let’s assume your campaign budget is Rs. 7000 but now the amount is exhausted. However, you still have Rs.20,000 in your ads account and want to add another Rs.5,000 to the same campaign. For this you must select the campaign budget field and edit the campaign budget to Rs.12,000 (that is Rs.7000 which is already spent + Rs. 5,000 of the incremental budget.)

How will you know when your ad campaign budget is exhausted?

Snapdeal alerts its online sellers about this. Also, the remarks section of the campaign page will show a comment about the same. This is when online sellers must update their campaign budgets. The step of updating your account can be avoided completely, with the recurring payment option the etailer mentions in its email.
